HOBI ("we", "us", "our") operates a platform that helps people find and join skill-matched sports games nearby. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to hobi.fit and, once available, the HOBI app.

By joining the waitlist or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use HOBI.

Joining the waitlist reserves you an invitation once HOBI launches in your city — it isn't a guarantee of access on a specific date.

We may prioritise invitations by city, sport, or signup order as we scale.

By joining, you consent to receive messages from HOBI by phone, SMS, or email about game invitations, launch updates, and product news.

You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

Games listed on HOBI are organised between players and, where applicable, venues. HOBI facilitates the match — we are not the organiser of record for every game.

Attendance, punctuality, and conduct at a game are the responsibility of the players who join it.

You're responsible for assessing your own fitness to play any sport listed on HOBI, and for any equipment or protective gear a game requires.

Play courteously. Repeated no-shows, harassment, or unsafe conduct may result in restricted access to future games.

Where a game or court booking requires payment, pricing is shown before you confirm. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers — HOBI does not store your card details.

Refund and cancellation terms are shown at the time of booking and may vary by venue.

Some games take place at partner venues. Venue-specific rules (footwear, timing, guest policy) apply in addition to these Terms.

HOBI is not responsible for the condition or safety of third-party venues, though we work with partners we trust.

HOBI does not guarantee that a game will have enough players, that a specific skill level will be available, or that any given city or sport will launch on a particular timeline.

We're building this with our community — timelines may shift as we learn.

The HOBI name, logo, and all website and app content are owned by HOBI and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Content you submit — a profile, a message in a game chat — remains yours, but you grant us a licence to use it to operate the platform.

You agree not to misuse the HOBI website — including scraping data, attempting unauthorised access, or interfering with its normal operation.

We may suspend access for anyone who violates this.

HOBI is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for injuries, disputes, or losses arising from games, venues, or interactions between players.

Play at your own risk, and use good judgement when meeting people through HOBI.

We may update these Terms as HOBI evolves. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist members directly, not buried in a silent edit.
